**RESOLVED**
It was a server-side error. One of the modsecurity rules was conflicting with the domain. My hosting provider whitelisted the domain against the conflicting rule. Now, we are able to update the theme editors.
Ok, so I did this and my error message was: Unknown RPC service: update_security_token
Is there a way I can attach the screenshots?
