Thank you fer your answer. I asked the customer this morning and they received new orders and it looks good again (no repeating confirmation e-mails). So I don’t know what was going on. Maybe it was a server issue or a ‘holiday rewrite’ still in the cache? So, all is working fine now.

Your answer did not help me but activated me to look for the ‘slug’ again…. and I did not see that in first place. But after a couple of minutes I thought about the dropdown on the right upper corner, the default dropdown for other WP display options… and there I found the ‘slug’ so after activating that I could change the slug for every gallery and now it is working correct.

When I use a not existing e-mailaddress with unchecked recaptcha I get the message that the link is send, so without recaptcha. Using a know address recaptcha is working and gives the error: Please verify that you are human.

I tried the other plugin “Simple Cloudflare Turnstile” and although it looks good, I cant check if it is working correct……

Ok, long story but it was caused by the mail client at the customer side. She marked the mail from the webshop accidentally as SPAM on her iPhone and blocked it. And since we all use iMap, the mail disappears on all devices, without any reason. Only on the iPhone the block icon was visible.

1) I tested and e-mail to customer works fine. But to shop owner is not. Both are present in the e-mail log. Stops working since two weeks.
2) Added new e-mail address for order confirmation and checked…. this works fine ..duh..Probably an issue @ the customer side (website owner), there mail client or so. Asked to check the webmail if the mails are present there. Not answered yet.
