I’ve cycled through all the combinations and finally decided to uncheck “Negotiated rates” and was able to get a pickup point o f”not set” to pull the correct rates.

Truth be told the plugin is currently not showing the correct pricing for my account. As you can see in the screenshots from the UPS website (where I’m logged in as the same account) the rates are 3x more expensive with your plugin.

Why? How do we troubleshoot this?

(Let’s just set expectations that if you are going to suggest we pay for the PRO plugin, then we will need to have it set up as a demo to test accurate pricing, prior to payment.)

I truly feel my comment was entirely ignored. This may not be a case of incorrect pricing, but instead a technical flaw in the plugin pulling the wrong shipping codes.

We have read your documentation and have the Pickup Type setting set properly.

The API response codes specifically show the WRONG codes being pulled for the labels and shipping types asked for.

Can you please respond to that? ANd if the pickup type impacts the shipping codes, then you need to supply more accurate documentation on how it impacts them as the codes #’s are completely misaligned.

I hobbled a temporary stop gap for the issue at my end by hard coding “display: flex”, though I don’t think I should have to do that. Looking forward to hearing from you about the stylign issue. Thanks.

When the required marker “*” is removed the form submits just fine.

Ignore. This was stemming from required fields in conditional fields.

I’d like to add that I can create a new feed from scratch just fine, but updating/regenerating or duplicating an existing feed always fails around 100%, whether the feed is set to individual or variable dependable.

First, I put in my original post that the logs have no fatal errors when loading the “add product” or “edit product” pages. But I’ll put the successful Facebook for Woo plugin log below anyway.

There are no relevant error logs as the website doesn’t even connect to the server to load the page.

Same issue. I get a 500 error. And I’ve narrowed it down to this plugin. You can see the issue in this video.

I just found the reason. The setting “used as variations” must be checked for an attribute to show in the table. I wonder why this is so?

Here is a use case where that begs for another solution:

In manufacturing one may have a product model that has a base configuration AND other customizable features. Those customizable features may be consistent across multiple products, meaning the same elements can be customized, WHILE the base products are all different.

For example: I make electrical cables. I may sell 3 parent products who have different base configurations of Type A, Type B, Type C, and wire gauge may be different on all 3, but not customizable across the children. AND all of these product have a variation of length, that is customizable: 3ft, 6ft, 12ft.

I do not want to clutter the product page with unnecessary fields. So, I set the “plug type” attribute and “amp/voltage” attribute to not be used as variation, BUT I do set it to be visible.

This does 2 things:
1) Reduces the number of select fields the user needs to deal with. (Every attribute set to “used as variation, gets a select box, even if there is only 1 option.)
2) Clearly shows the attribute as a product configuration as it will appear in the “details” tab for the product. (And as a child of the parent that attribute obviously applies to the child (especially if there is only 1 option on the parent product).

I gave an example with only 2 attributes. Some manufacturers, including my client have considerably more, 20+.

In the case of my client, asking the user to sift through 20+ attributes to find the ones that need to be selected and which can be ignored is just a waste of time.

Does that make sense?

You can see the attributes marked as “uses as variations” are at the top. These are the attributes that are customizable.

Below in the “additional information” tab you can see all the other “base configuration” attributes, marked as “Visible on the product page”.

Is there a way to change the functionality to look for “visible on product” in stead of “used as variation”???

I would agree, except when I add the exact same custom attributes to your product upload, and change those products to variable, the attributes end up appearing…
