My las post i quoted the wrong portion here is my post again, sorry!

Hello I have some issues with translating my genesis install, well not really a problem with the translation nor the plug in, at least I don′t think it is.

Here is the issue:

I installed the plugin (the genesis translation one)

I uploaded to the wp-content/language the required language, spanish.

Then I changed the wp-confing PHP line to from this define (‘WPLANG’, ”); to this define (‘WPLANG’, ‘es_ES’);

The frontend works fine and the translation works just fine but can′t load the dashboard on the backend, i get this error:

Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving https://equilibre.gt/wp-admin/index.php. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

Here are some suggestions:

Reload this webpage later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

Then if I change back the wp-config to define (‘WPLANG’, ”); all works fine again but no translation on the front end.

Ok, no worries, Jan Dembowski I’ll keep it in mind for my future postings, I didn’t think that a few weeks would make this post as an old one, may I suggest that post be treated as resolved or unresolved? making new posts about an already discussed topic makes the forums a difficult place to get answers, as you see there at least 5 o 7 threads with the same question and same answers, yea one thread…

Same here, thou people are able to comment and it just works the way it’s supposed to be working, I find it very odd. Well in the front end it’s working just fine but in the back end I’m not getting any notification so I don’t know when people are commenting…
