Hi @markwierda hope you’re doing well.
I’m sorry that you are experiencing inconveniences.

There is an issue related to the ajax add to cart event
    https://github.com/woocommerce/pinterest-for-woocommerce/issues/548
Probably this is related to the problem you’re facing on your site.

    Hope this is helpful.
    Best,

    Hi @passiondove
    hope you’re doing great today!

Development team analysis conclude that the error is thrown when there is some problem with the Pinterest authentication.
It’s hard to say if that is caused by some conflict on the site or is something related to the merchant account.

To give you better assistance please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support.
You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.
We will be able to help you further there.

    Hi @titsmaker
    hope you’re doing well!

    Thank you for your comment,

WC Admin is indeed a requirement, BUT, the plugin checks if WC Admin was disabled using the standard filter?woocommerce_admin_disabled
That means, deactivating the WC Admin using the filter bypasses the requirement verification:
    add_filter( 'woocommerce_admin_disabled', '__return_true' );

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @scifigirl128 ,
I understand your concern and I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you by this situation!

Could you please share with us the problem you’re facing with the plugin?

On the other hand, customer support does not ask for admin credentials from live site, for the same security reasons you’ve mentioned.
Please let us know how we can help you.

    Hi @hdas1
what you’ve mentioned is correct, those are the minimum requirements to install and use the Pinterest for WooCommerce plugin.

Once fixed/updated you can proceed with the plugin onboarding.

Please let us know if this helps.

@coolpinkice thank you for your answer.

Is is ok for you, please share a copy of your site’s System Status?
You can find it on your website, via WP?Admin?→?WooCommerce?→?Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Additionally, we’ll need the fatal errors log WP?Admin?→?WooCommerce?→?Status → Logs
From the dropdown menu select the fatal error log from the date your site crashed.
The same as the status report paste it here in your response.

We’ll try to dig and look for the cause of the issue in your site.

    Diego

    Hi Maja,
    Hope you are doing well!

Try checking your security plugins. These plugins can block several IP addresses if they think those addresses are malicious.
You can also try to disable other plugins to check if this is not caused by any compatibility issue.
In the following link conflict test there are instructions on how to perform this test, always do this on a Staging site, never on live.

Hope this helps, please let us know if it works.

    Hi Maya,
Hope you are doing great today!
I understand your concern and I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you by this situation.

I’m not seeing the images you’ve shared, please use any file sharing site like WeTransfer or Imgbb

Anyway as first attempt lets try to fix it by starting the process from scratch.
Not sure if all the steps below will apply, it depends on how the onboarding process ended.

    1. Go to Settings tab on “Marketing > Pinterest”
    2. Disable “Enable product sync”
    3. Enable “Erase Plugin Data” and Save
    4. Go to Connection tab on ?”Marketing > Pinterest”
    5. Disconnect your account by clicking on “Disconnect”?
    6. Deactivate and uninstall “Pinterest for WooCommerce”
    7. Install again “Pinterest for WooCommerce”
    8. Restart the Pinterest onboarding

Hope this helps, please let us know the result.
    Best
    Diego
