In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Compatiblity with wordpress 3.8Because I commented it out, wp deactivated it and won’t allow me to activate it because of line 160 causing a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /hermes/bosweb26d/b844/nf.tvascca/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/all-in-one-event-calendar.php on line 160
Still would appreciate direction from someone if you have an idea of what to try. Thanks

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Compatiblity with wordpress 3.8Dang it! Yes, commenting out removed the error, but it also removed the calendar. If you have any advice on a next step, I’m all ears. At least now I can get into plugins to uninstall if necessary. Help!!!

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Compatiblity with wordpress 3.8oh thank you ajhoy…I finally figured out what you meant and now I’m back into plugins to see what works and what doesn’t…awesome!
comment out in php meant to put <!– at the front of line 160 and –> at the end of line 160
<!--unset( $plugins->active[ array_search( $basename, $plugins->active ) ] );-->

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Compatiblity with wordpress 3.8I love this calendar too, but I updated and now get:
Warning: array_search() [function.array-search]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /hermes/bosweb26d/b844/nf.tvascca/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/all-in-one-event-calendar.php on line 160Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /hermes/bosweb26d/b844/nf.tvascca/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/all-in-one-event-calendar.php on line 160
I can’t access “plugins”
I don’t understand the instruction by ajhoy above “commenting out line 160”. Could you elaborate? Thanks so muchthanks ludwigkeck…got it up and running and am very pleased with the results. I’m thinking what would be fun is if I could replace my regular “posts” that make up my “home” page with the full posting of the calendar posting. Maybe have a slider of current week’s activities on the home page…I’ll save that for another day, As it is now, I’m posting twice, but until I’m more sure of what I’m doing, I’ll leave it be. I have not noticed your “text Minimum” issue. Where did you see that show up? on the detail page per item, or on the calendar itself?

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Recurring Event – must purchaseI had no difficulty with recurring events. Did you upgrade to the free standard version?
If it is basic and it works, that will be good enough for my limited use. Thanks…you site looks great!
Thanks for your post…would you let me know if you experience success with Timely’s Calendar?
I’m new to this and have been having the same problem. I thought it was me, not a compatibility issue. If I deactivate Ajax, what do you recommend in its place? I’m using theme twentytwelve and have NextGen Gallery installed.
