Thanks for the handholding on the backtick and the code. What I did was add a blank <li> element within a <ul> element.

Never mind. Figured it out.

Q1: No. Did not change that line. Just the name of the folder containing the theme. Q2: The new folder “mytheme” (creative, huh?) now resides in wp-content along with the default folder. Thanks!
