In reply to: Cannot Access Admin Panel WP-AdminI have resolved this. The issue was caused by Google Analytics by Yoast plugin.
Logging in to my site via FTP and renaming the plugin fixed this issue.

In reply to: Unable to login to WordPress following Host-support-callMy hosting company 1and1 has just admitted that the issue appears to be at their end without specifying what the issue is.
This must be the forth or fifth time I’ve had an issue with 1and1, I need to find a new hosting company.

In reply to: Unable to login to WordPress following Host-support-callSorry, I should have added that I don’t get an error message when attempting to login it just does nothing.
Also, I can still look up my website stats on WordPress.com via Jetpack so it is still connected.
Finally, I deleted and then added a php.ini file from and in to my wp-admin folder via ftp as a means to increase my maximum file upload size.
I’m not sure if all of this is relevant but I think it wise to declare it.

I have taken your advice.
I’ll wait for Google to crawl the website sometime today.
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: Googlebot can't access my siteThank you Janes and Ross.
yes I did read through a number of similar Googlebot/Robots.txt issues in the forums first but I couldnt find a resolution, sometimes there was none and others seemed quite different from mine.
Also, I wondered if it might be something to do with WordPress 4.My site is https://www.whichinvest.com and my host is 1and1.co.uk.
I couldn’t find my Robots’txt file in my FTP account so I called 1and1 support and they have escalated the issue to look in to it.
I’ll report back with any updates.
Many thanks for your help.

Many, many thanks.

In reply to: Finance website – Review itThe background image you chosen makes it look like a Techno trace music site. That’s not appropriate for a finance site.
Worse than that though your homepage is written like an ‘about us’ page and is in very bad English. Who would trust a finance site written such poor English.

In reply to: [WordPress Popup - Optin Revolution] Can't edit the imageOkay I have got it working.
If anyone else encounters the same issue the solution was to select the position bottom radio button and suddenly the little circle that enables you to manipulate the size of the photo was visible.

In reply to: [BadgeOS Community Add-on] Allow members to thank one and other? Thanks for the response Michael.
I guess I was unsure about the extent to Community Add-on’s abilities.
I see on other sites members can click on a Thanks radio button and this shows up on the profile of members.
I am not terribly technical so perhaps another plugin does this. Does what i have described ring a bell with you (as it where)? Is there a way i can achieve this using BadgeOS?
I just installed WP Super Cache which is easy to set up.
I then tested the speed of my site on Pingdom and it is 4 seconds faster to load.
Not as fast as W3 Super Cache was before it stopped functioning but it’s faster than it had been.
I haven’t been able to resolve my issue diesel43.
For me when I turn on W3 Total Cache it strips out elements of the page like a slider I use to deliver news content.
It was previously working well so I assume it is an update to W3 that has caused the issue.
Perhaps there is an alternative to W3 that might work better?
