figured out a work-around

Oh, and if I add:

.page .main {background-image: url(“https://cleurbanwinery.ccadinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/cle-urban-winery-white-brick-background.png”); }

the image shows up, but you can see a light line around the area so it’s not continuous…

I downloaded the plugin, activated it, copied the code to the twenty twelve child and tried to copy it to the theme file. I’m now getting a parsing error.

I think I’m going to try to completely uninstall wordpress and start fresh. I have a feeling that trying some of the plugins may have messed me up. Thank goodness my brother-in-law isn’t in a hurry for his new site!
