Removing the absolute positioning of the sidebar and forcing the footer widget area to be the correct width worked for me.
#sidebar { position: relative; float: right; } .sidebar .site-footer .widget-area { left: 0; max-width: 1040px; width: 100%; }

Thanks – I fixed most of these, but a lot of the rest are from plugins which I hesitate to edit.. They don’t seem like they should affect the issue of the dropdown being cut off though. Any ideas?

Figured it out! CSS height issue with the branding div.
