Hi Emilio,
I came across the mobile website design problem after the update of 4.2.1. The theme I am using comes with mobile themes for iPads and mobiles, before the update the designs incorporated well with the wptouch menu.
After the update, the mobile site design seem to change to one of the default ones provided by wptouch, the mobile designs provided by my theme cannot be displayed and if I deactivate the plugin, the mobile themes also didn’t get the wptouch menus.
What I want to do is adding a gallery slider on the front page but doesn’t seem to find a way to do it with wptouch’s default design. I am ok with using wptouch design if I could add the slider and have the background photos for all the pages I got. Now they are just of the simplest design without an image on homepage or any other pages.
The sync problem I mentioned was the “preview theme” in wptouch setting, and the theme customization in “appearance”, they appear to be different and when I change designs, the designs in wptouch setting’s preview and appearance ‘s instant preview are not the same designs (e.g. one with an image the other without), and always usually end up going with the wptouch setting preview design.
Please let me know if you want more specific details on this. Thanks!
same thing happened to me, when updated to 4.2.1 previous designs on wptouch are changed, and there is no way i could change it.
Also there seem to be a sync issue with mobile site customizer and the wptouch setting preview
Please let me know how to resolve this, thanks!
