Hello @mahyulan , the Admin New User Notification is sent to your Administration Email Address under WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General. Sorry for the confusion.
Hi @hiddenpearls, this appears to be related to something custom or external to EDD. EDD, by default, does not display a password. If the customer registers and needs to set a password, they are sent a link via email to reset their password.
Hi @topfgartenwelt. EDD works with Google Schema by default. If you want more control over it, you can use an SEO plugin, but it’s not required. See this document for details:?https://easydigitaldownloads.com/docs/schema-support-in-easy-digital-downloads/
Hello @louislewis, our plugin Easy Digital Downloads will allow you to sell your artwork if you have a WordPress website. You can offer multiple price options for different sizes, if you would like.
Hello @ammo69 . I would recommend confirming you don’t have caching enabled on your order confirmation page, the page with [edd_receipt].
If that doesn’t explain it, could you please open a support ticket using the page here?https://easydigitaldownloads.com/support?
We’ll need more details about your site to understand what is happening.
Hello! I’m not aware of any known conflicts with EDD and WP Rocket. I would recommend reviewing this doc for recommended cache settings: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/docs/configure-cache/
Super Cache is mentioned but the settings apply to all caching.
If you are still having trouble, please provide more details about the issue. If this is regarding Software Licensing, please reach out to our support team here: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/support/
Hello @lifeafter40clg, you should be able to resolve that by checking PayPal under Downloads > Settings > Payments, in the list of Active Gateways.
Hi @klewis! Yes, EDD works with nginx sites. See our nginx documentation: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/docs/download-files-not-protected-on-nginx/
Hi @sellernine, sorry for the error.
You should be able to rename or delete EDD (or EDD Pro) from you plugins directory to regain access to your site.
If you are running Stripe Pro, please make sure you are running the latest version available on our website.
If so, please try reinstalling EDD or EDD Pro, which every version you are running. Here are instructions on how to disable all plugins via FTP: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-wp-admin/
Instead of renaming the plugins folder, you can just delete Easy Digital Downloads, then reinstall when you regain access to your site. You will not lose any data doing this as the EDD data is in the database, not the folder.Hi @tashword, no there is no negative impact to continue using the shortcodes. The blocks can have a nicer layout and sometimes additional features.
We do not fully support PHP 8.1 until the next EDD release, version 3.2. You might revert back to PHP 8.0 if possible until 3.2 is release.
Hi @orangeletter2 can you let us know what version of EDD and PHP you are running.
Hello @ethicalstores, it will be grayed out if it’s not setup and connected. Please setup per this guide: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/docs/paypal-setup/
Hi @joydipkar73 this is handled by your them. This post might be helpful: https://webtalkhub.com/how-to-disable-featured-image-auto-crop-in-wordpress/
Hi @orangeletter2 I shared this with our developers and if they haven’t already been addressed, they will be when we support PHP 8.2.
The next major EDD release, 3.2 will support up to PHP 8.1.
Note, WordPress is still in beta for PHP 8.x support.
