  • update – I got it to work!! I realized I had to go through the mailchimp accept subscription process. So the changes done with 5.1.3 were key as it was not saving to a specific mailchimp list before.

I had an additional question, I set the emails to save to a local file. I see how to export that file, but is there a way for me to delete emails from that local file?

I forgot to ask – do you know what the delay time is for emails to be populated to mailchimp?

    Hi Kasia-

I just reactivated the plugin so you can see it. our url is https://www.wxintegrations.com/. I did just notice that there was an update to 5.1.3 so I implemented that update.

The email form seemed to be working, it just was not populating my mailchimp list. So the email information was going into a black hole so to say.

Another element that I though was a part of the issue is I have multiple mailchimp lists. So when I connected my API and identified a specific list, when I would return to the hustle configuration dashboard in the “Name & Service” section in the “basic service section” and it was not saving the list. I just tried saving again and it seemed to save the list with this update to 5.1.3. But when I just tested my email did not populate in mailchimp. Ironically the plugin did save my emails somewhere (I have not found where) because it would not let me use the emails I had previously tried – I got a message saying this email is already registered (but it is not listed in my mailchimp lists – on mailchimp.)

I appreciate any help you can provide.

    Sincerely-

I am having the same problem. I did what you suggested and added a subscriber to my list in mailchimp and then tried entering another email into the list via the Hustle pop up from my website. My mailchimp list is not populating.

I am not sure how this item was identified as resolved as the answer above was actually not what was causing the problem. Thanks to a different post I realized it could be a plug in. So using Chrome’s “View Page Source” feature as well as just trial and error I finally found the plug in that had the google tag manager feature that was causing the problem.

What is strange is I reactivated the plugin to doublecheck that I in fact had Identified the correct plugin (I was testing several) and the problem did not come back. So it was potentially one of the other plugins that I had turned off or by simply deactivating and reactivating, I cleared out the issue. In any event it was not something in my source page but was code from a plug in.

    Style Themes Rep-

That is what rwb2073 suggested above and sadly it did not work. As an alternate solution, we are not going to use the menu main pages as an actual content page but instead as an “overview page” of the content in the sub-pages. I plan to move all content that we currently have listed in our main pages to sub menu pages. That way if someone clicks on the main page from their computer or tablet they will still see content while also addressing the fact that in a mobile situation you are not able to connect to those pages.

So while the problem still exists, I think this is a viable work around.

rwb2073- thank you for the suggestion but unfortunately it did not work. We are still having issues with our main menu items not showing in mobile.

Greetings – Just checking if you could provide some clarification of your instructions above as I haven’t seen a reply.

Could you provide an example of what you are referring to, I am confused by your instructions to use the “# link on teh top menue” what is the #link?. I didn’t change the coding/naming convention of the link. I used the Menu structure page to create the menu’s and submenus element on the page. .

    Thanks-

I am not sure why you didn’t find the problem. Did you try from a smartphone? That is where we have the issue. Click on about (Not one of the submenues) Nothing changes. But if you click on about on a larger screen the page changes to show the information below (I wish I could attach a screen shot)

I am not able to see the “about” or any of the other main menu page (“Products and Services”, “Surveys” or “Contact”) in a mobile platform, I can only link to the submenu pages. It is a function of the code when it shrinks to just “Menu” and you have it listed vertically on a small screen size. When you can see the full menu offerings in a horizontal fashion the problem does not exist.
