In 1.2.5 having the shoutbox popup when the group admin is online is a new feature to help promote dialog. Should I make that an option instead?

Looks like I’ll have to get single and test with that.

Yeah, but I too have placed it on many a server and none of them do what yours does so it is hard to track down.

Can I get an account on your site and see? I want this fixed just as much as you do, but I don’t see it.

Do you have cookies disabled on your browser? I’m keying off of the wordpress cookie to determine if you are logged in or not.

Blank, really? Did you click on the dashboard button after you activated the plugin?

Did you chmod 777 the bp-chat/config directory?

Sounds like you don’t have it properly installed.

I added a check for this in the install now as well. You’ll get a nice error screen saying what to do.

Ideally, I’d like to fail the install and show an error message, but I don’t know how. I tried WP_Error, but that didn’t do it.

Any ideas? Or does this work for you?

This is now an option in the new options panel. You can have the full blown chat pop out if you want it to.

That’s a good idea. I spent hours trying to track that bug down only to find out it was another plugin! If you have any new info please share it.
