Since I recreated the problem. I removed the 1.1.10 from the plugin folder and installed 1.1.12, upon activating the new version, the plugin came up correctly. Problem resolved. Update fixed SS on my production site also. Thanks for all your help.

You were right the database had a problem. But the resetting URL did not work. Since I’ve been testing your plugin on a brand-new site I deleted the database, reinstall WP, and re-activated the plugin (SS 1.1.11). Success. Sorry now I didn’t save the old database, cause now I can’t fix the problem on my production site.

I deleted the database again, reinstall WP, and re-activated (SS 1.1.10). Problem back. I now now have a database (with error) I can send you.

Updated to 1.1.11 still not working, turned on debug:

Notice: Undefined index: general in /Volumes/ServerFiles/Library/Server/Web/Data/Sites/affright.com/wp1/wp-content/plugins/security-safe/admin/Admin.php on line 251

This problem, for me, went away with the system update of Mac OS 10.9.1

See a major slowdown while using Admin like editing a page. I am using WP 3.7.1, Safari 7.0 and just migrated to Mac OSX 10.9. Many changes all at once.

In WP trying to edit a page, I get the cursor I beam. When I click on a place I want to add more text or make a change, nothing happens. I get the spinning beach ball of death, and have to wait a while so I can make a change. After several minutes I can edit, make my changes, but must wait a long time for the actual save.

I have tried different combinations of Safari, WP, Mac OSX but the one item that always comes up SLOW is with OSX 10.9 (Mavericks) *BUT* if I use Chrome, with OSX 10.9 it edits fine. Feel like I’m in the twilight zone.

BTW, tried cleaning cache in Safari, removing Glims, and extensions.

Any one else experiencing this problem.
