solved! make sure you whitelist correct version of your url on messenger i.e https I had whitelisted http version whereas we were redirecting everything to https on website, this fixed the messenger not loading

by default the plugin redirect to wp-login.php when you select Participants must be logged in to take quiz, maybe an option to insert login url
