Go to edit/create a page or post in wp-admin at the top is a “Screen Options” panel link, on the Top far right side just under “Howdy & your name”
Open tab and check of custom fields.
Just an FYI!
I found this easy and simple solution outside of this forum.
Googled it! Go figure!
