I am also running into the same problem this morning. I have previously used this plugin on other sites using the steps outlined in the installation guide with much success.
Today, whilst trying to set this up for a new site, I am unable to send any emails and I get the same Fatal Exception thrown. I have tried to troubleshoot as per the instructions as well, and do not get any security warnings when logging back into my gmail account.
I’m not sure what to do ??
Any more guidance would be helpful!
