looks like this is the line that makes the problem:

it’s in general_template.php
what does it do and how can I resolve it, does anyone know? ??

Try changeing your images links from your website files from plain “/images/background.png” for example, to “https://yourwebsite.com/images/background.png”.

You can use this plug-in .
After you install it, you can upload an picture in your profile settings.

I use Author Exposed for this feature, when a visitor clicks your name, a popup box appears and shows the avatar and information about you.
For this plug-in you need to have your email registered on gravatar , where you will add there an avatar. You need to use the same email from your wp account, of course.

I can’t even load the website… ??

Having the same problem, even made an topic about it.
It all started when I changed the comments.php file from my theme.
Now when I change&save a file or a setting, I get the blank page instead of the refreshed page, but the settings are saved.
My topic here with more info, please help if you know the solution.

I don’t think the background colour is the problem, since it has nothing to do with it.
Try using Contact 7 and see if it still does that.

Ok, I disabled an plugin that somehow made this problem.
