sorry, but from a quick search here on the forums, and form reading threads, Yahoo is not the greatest host for your WordPress installation .. but now, if you like your site being up and down and up and down again .. they are great in those regards …

i personally suggest you go with another host provider.

my local hosting provider is just right down the road from my house and they have fair prices and great support. never have experienced any down time and for the price, you cannot beat it …

different markets support different prices for hosting and storage space, but for $50-$100 a year, they are not bad .. and they will even install the WordPress for you and help you out along the way … really great guys.

i think it is a good adaptation of Chris Frazier’s “Subtle” theme .. but I would be sure that you do give him and Glued Ideas proper credit .. after all .. all you are doing is modifying the header and footer .. and maybe adding a little extra on your navigation bar …

i have actually already had someone contact me to change out the header … you think you might consider offering the Photoshop files for further customization to the community?

jaseone … i noticed your post about the feature you want out off GALLERY2 .. “pulling out images” … this can be done very easily … you can pull out as many as you want ..

if you want to learn more, i have several sites i can allow you to look a that gallery2 implemented and i use the “random” code for my sidebars …

i believe the code is ..

obviously delete the ” ” marks … and change the 6 to the number of images you want displayed … and 75 is your pixel size …. increase or decrease for your desired size …

After taking a look at your ste, I would stick with Coppermine .. it has more powerful features than Gallery2. I have used both and currently use both as options on severals site I manage … and I really like the features of Coppermine over Gallery2 … and if you are adding that many pics weekely .. Coppermine and the “Batch” feature is your ticket … Gallery2 does not offe this nor, as of yet, the Ecard function .. at least not for Gallery2 ..

tony, are you referring to the plugin “randomize” when you say it is calling up the url and not the image itself?

there is a trick to it … you have to input the banner just as you would in HTML format …

i can give you a reference code to look at … but treat it just like HTML .. with <IMG SRC= …./> and <A HREF=”…/>

once you do that .. it will appear with proper linkage ..
