I had the same issue after updating to 2.1.4, That line mentions WP_CACHE but I dont know what is the issue.

What I did to solve it was downgrade Learnpress to 2.1.3

As I understand, That extension offers only three options for the lessons:

• Open it immediately (default value)
• Open it after an interval time (days, weeks, months)
• Open lesson on a specific date

But it is not clear of what it means with “Open it immediately”, because when you start a course you can access all the lessons immediately anyways.

Can you explain this functionality?

What I need is to lock all lessons and unlock them as the user is completing one by one. Is that what it does that add-on?

I managed to solve it with acf to dynamically select the kind of the notification based in the quiz.

The notification is managed with contact form 7, that way we control the requests made by the custom contact form.

One thing I still need help, how can I keep my modifications made in result.php when you update the plugin?

How about editing the quiz result.php, to show a specific message based in the quiz id that has been finished.

Thanks Ken I will update it for sure, But why is not part of the native functionality? I would think that any post_type could have the default author selector in the editor, but I guess the option to allow anyone to became an instructor makes the authorship of a course a restricted value.

The other part that is not really clear is when you want to offer free courses, but you still have a checkout button. There are some hicks but overall is a great extension.

But is there a way to make the profile private? By default you can click and see the instructor’s profile…

Well, I found a solution. But you will need to edit the database in mysql.

1- Log in into MySQL
2- Search for the user id and keep the number in mind
3- Search for the term “course”
4- In the results choose the right item by confirming the post slug, description or title, and click edit
5- Change the id of the author field for the desired user id

This in unacceptable! How come the is no way to change instructor of a course!
