I had added the domain but the dmarc line was not verified. I have reverified the dns records and now all are showing as verified. Another newsletter will go out this weekend and I will see if this fixed it. Thanks!

I actually found 2 solutions. The free one is WooCommerce Free Shipping Per Product which allows you to select the plug in as a shipping class and zone that actually works correctly, if the only item(s) in cart are free shipped the check-out shows only free shipping. If items combine free and paid shipping only the options for the paid shipping are shown and the cost of the free shipped items are not included in the totals.

After I got the working the client required that he be able to limit some products to UPS shipping only, adding another level of confusion to this. For this I had to pay for the ELEX Hide WooCommerce Shipping Methods and they are working with me to create sub carts (I believe that is the term) using short codes (I think) and then the free shipping will display separately from the paid items and the admin will be able to apply a shipping class of UPS that will display the UPS options only.

I hope this post helps others because I know I am not the only one with these issues – obviously because Ian joined the conversation.

Can someone please help me with my original request? Gerry’s solution helped but the results does not display the image of the flag behind the person. There has to be some way to make this header responsive – the rest of the theme is. Please?

That helps a lot – at least his image is displayed. Would really prefer if the image could be reduced to fit so the flag displayed also but at this point I can get paid! Thank you so much!

If anyone can post a solution that reduces the image to scale the page that would be great. My “dream” is to have the header image look like the image that is showing up last in the scroll down.

Or is it possible to simply repeat the steps to add the site to the dev/staging area but copy that dev/staging site back to the main site?

Thank you Jeff. Whatever I did it seems to have jogged it into working. Part of the solution was to wait a bit then log and back in – the reports are now there. I appreciate your comment because at least I knew I did not miss a setting!

Yes – you may be on to something, it is a gravity form. Could that be the issue? Or is this a “feature” of mail post – should not be because my other site does not work this way?

I don’t know how to say it better but will try. For some reason on this website (loxalucieheadwaters.org) when someone signs up for a newsletter (mailpoet) subscription their info shows up in the mailpoet subscribers list (I want this) but also show up as subscribers in the WordPress users list (Users> All Users). I have another website where I use mailpoet and this does not happen. Thank you for you link – I have read through this but an not understanding what part of this answers my question. It is so puzzling to me (and my client is upset by this – even though I told her to simply disregard it) I don’ know why the 2 sites are acting differently and have not gotten myself totally confused by it.

Thank you that was very helpful. I found that there is another plugin that was depending on this setting set to being true. I thought it was mail poet! Sorry about that. I am using New User Approve for the other form I talked about and they require this to be turned on. So I will next look into that plugin and what I can do about it there. Such a house of cards wordpress is!

Thank you Bruna. One of those were turned on so I removed that choice (sign up in registration form) though this is not the problem. The problem is I don’t know where these other sign ups are coming from. I don’t believe I have any 3rd party plugins allowing for signups. I do have one other form on the site that I created that is sent directly and only to board members to sign up as a board member user. This form is available only with a direct link and is not accessed by robots so is not on search engines. I am trying to allow sign ups only through these 2 specific forms not the generic sign up form that is produced by WordPress. Maybe I am asking in the wrong area. Can someone tell me how to disable any wordpress user sign up forms without turning off the mail poet sign up? Or tell me where I might find the answer?

Once again I was able to solve my own problem.

FYI there is an error message setting as a separate tab on the page that has the role applied.
