Give me a few minutes and I will restore the site to before I uploaded the child folder – will post when you can look again.

It is just the look of the site that I linked – I replaced the pic with my logo in that one and it has a black navigation bar in it. That is all that link was for. I am not trying to bring anything from one site to the other.

I did not set up anything in the parent theme on the twentytwenty site – that is what I am trying to say – it was just as it was installed and the look of it is completely different than it was before I installed the child theme. I was under the impression that the line @import url(“../twentytwelve/style.css”); in the child theme would have passed on the look of the site before I added the child theme – and it didn’t.

Not sure what settings – but there was a picture displayed (randomly) on each page before and now it is not there – any ideas of where that setting is? Also the menu bar was black now it is white. Here is another site I created using twentyeleven but you can see the look that was there before I created the child https://www.newburghpba.org/

Because I have not personalized the site, the way it is may be ok – I just expected to see the same layout as before I added the child.

WPyogi – thank you – I am trying to set up the child theme as you suggested but for some reason the code for the css is not passing through the complete twentytwelve style (I have not customized the site yet and therefore the standard twentytwelve look was what I had. The child css removed the images and changed the layout. Any thoughts?

(I am not a complete novice, but still far from an expert)

Additional information so you can see what I have been trying. https://www.htmlgoodies.com/beyond/webmaster/toolbox/create-custom-page-templates-in-wordpress.html gives the kind of instructions I am trying to do. No matter where I upload the file all I get of choices in the drop down (using twentytwelve) There are only “default template”, “showcase template’ and “sidebar template” available.

Thanks – I guess I am a week early. The programming is working great – thanks for the plug in. Will there be much to do to upgrade? Will it retain the listings I have already entered (Oh I pray that it does!)?

Found the answer, the following was checked in the settings

Limit to posts from feed. When checked the posts displayed will be limited to those posted by the page who’s feed is being retrieved.

I know this post is older but is right up the ally of what I need to know. I installed the plug in and found that if I use the feed ID given by bonneri the plug in works (and obviously shows joshuallivesay’s webpage. My problem is that I need to get the feed id for a group that I belong to, not my personal page. I am an administrator of the group. I had to create the app using my personal page as I couldn’t figure out how to do it through the group, but it seems this doesn’t matter because I was able to make joshua’s feed show up.

Here’s my question, how do I get the feed ID for the following group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/NewburghProfessionalBA/

Any help greatly appreciated!
