Therefor I just went the solution you now see which is not ideal but the client is happy with.

Unfortunately, my client wants the search icon with the other social icons on the right-hand side on the desktop version ( I had it on the menu and they wanted it removed).

I totally understand if this is not yet a feature on your plugin as it is already a great plugin.

On the right-hand side of the header area you will see three icons (social media and basket). I wish to add the fourth icon in this area – the ivory search icon. I do not want it on the main navigation menu as I can not see it in the header areaon mobile versions.

I am using a twentysixteen child theme and have full access to the header.php file to add additional code.

This is still happening, 3 months later. No matter how many times I press “No Thanks” to the “Want to help make “PostX even more awesome?” message, it just keeps on appearing.

Whilst I do really like the plugin and thank you for that, I am now very close to uninstalling it on a number of sites as this has become so annoying.

Of course, I understand why it appears, but this is too much. Saying “No Thanks” once should be enough.

I did not find any direct solution to this issue and so I had to install the “WP Mail SMTP by WPForms” plugin on all sites.

Once installed and I added my hosting providers SMTP details, the forms are delivering again.

Such a shame as Contact Form 7 was a great plugin but if it does not deliver the forms, it is no longer an option going forward.

I am having the exact same issue for the last few weeks with multiple domains on different servers.

The contact form is not delivering to an email address within the same domain as the website address, but does deliver without any issues to a Gmail address.

Firstly, amazing plugin.

I am having the same issue mentioned here. It is happening to around 90 or so websites I look after on three different servers, all with Contact Form 7.

All was working perfectly up to a few weeks ago.

Now, emails are not sent to the email address that matches the domain, but they are sending to Gmail.
