Hi,
Sorry for my late reply. Yes i did deactivate a few plugins and now the price seems to be displaying right inc tax. I will definitely get back in case i encounter the issue again. Thanks for the help.

Hi,
Even when i set it to “Shop Based Address” some products continue to show price ex tax. What i am unable to comprehend is the randomness and why some products show price inc and some others ex taxes
Here is a screen shot of my Tax settings

Hi,
Thanks for the reply and the explanation but its actually not making sense to me.
The only thing I want is on the shop page and on the product page I want the price displayed inclusive of taxes. as in the above example Cassan Barra Magic, the price in both places (Below the product name and above “Add to Basket” should be 520-580 instead of the fractional prices being displayed exclusive of taxes.).
Please let me know what settings to set to to achieve this considering shop is based in India and I will be selling only in India (and taxes all over India are uniform)
I have tried the settings you suggested but have one big query. If the issue was with the setup of the “Default Customer Location” , why is it that for some products the price is rightly showing inclusive of taxes and some others it shows exclusive, when no address is entered in cart by a user?
What happens if I set default customer location to “Geolacate” or “Geolocate with page caching support”
Kindly suggest exact settings to achieve price display inclusive of taxes in Shop and Product page and i will do the needful.
Regards
Adwait
Hi,
Thanks for the reply but it is not a Caching issue. The Prices over days (and even after purging cache) show exclusive tax just for a few products . The strange part is for some it shows inclusive tax and others exclusive (I have given few examples above) but now i observe that few of the above which were showing inclusive of taxes too change to an ex tax display in the shop. So it is very random.
Default Selling location is set to “Sell to Specific Countries” and India .
About this > If it’s not set to the store’s location (and the store’s location has the correct tax rate), then users will see the price without tax until they enter their shipping information. That’s another scenario that can cause taxes to be shown incorrectly. Yes i want the cax calculation to show only once product is added to store. Its functioning fine here and has no issues.
The only issue is the prices displayed on the shop page and the individual product pages which show exclusive of taxes (seen as fractions for most) in many cases.

For the following product which again today is displaying price ex tax in shop and product page (Rs. 464.29 – 517.86 instead of Rs. 520-580)
