I’ve tested Exihibit intensively for 5 days and build it in 2 “prosumerblogs”; one is https://www.gewuerzejournal.de a german journal as business blog about spices. All I can say is, “exhibit” works, fine, full, comfy. For more – or better something other pirposes – I use Coppermine as fotogallery software.

I?′ve tried out some and now work with one wikiengine for some different projects. One of them you can find under https://www.verbraucherakademie.sfiv.net embedded in an whole “philosophy” for a Saxonian organization.
For me the best wiki engine after 6 month of testing and trying almost all of them “on the market” is the engine of wikipedia, which is called “wikimedia” under GLP. But everyone has to find out *the* right wikiengine for his oder hers purposes for themselves.
I simply link the wiki with the sourroundings of the other parts of the electronic corporate communications on screen.
But one thing I would never do is, to mix different surfaces from different “enigines” or programms: a wiki is a wiki, a weblog remains a weblog, a forum is a forum and so forth. A surfer who comes along by chance on my sites should se at first glance, what?′s going on. The effect of rembering “Oh that?′s something I know I?′ve seen it somewhere else before” psychologically to me is more worth than to have the same surface for all.
People like to stay and rest at places they know and find comfy to handle.

Hi root and thanks for the nice an fast answer.
I surely will “keep on trucking” – “so weiter machen und bei der Stange bleiben” in German – but I think I have a lot of work to do and a lot to learn. Anyway, once WP is in my blood as MT became in the last 6 weeks, I will do some good edu, social and journalist work with it.
By the way, the coming week the manuscript of my fist book about weblogs, published in my own small publishing firm, will be ready. Did you know, that momentarily there are only three German books about weblogs on the market? This afternoon I made the decision to skip MT as a reference weblog and bring in as much as I can (understand) from WP.
My problem is, according to the acronym CMS, I understand a lot of content, many about management and nothing (the hell) about those S’s behind: System, Server, Scripts. Anyway; nobody is perfect; perfection kills the rat, or what was the band’s name?.
