index.php is not written in my custom structure

Using post names as permalinks, I should clarify the wordpress server is using apache and the reverse proxy server is using nginx, a2enmod rewrite is enabled on the wordpress server. I’m not too sure on PHP interfacing with Apache, runnning php php-curl php-gd php-mbstring php-xml php-xmlrpc php-soap php-intl php-zip php-mysql, I haven’t modified any PHP configs from default, see apache config + nginx reverse proxy config in pastebin: https://pastebin.com/ASTdxPgu

@fierevere I was aware that using a plugin would solve the problem but the issue is I can’t hit wp-admin from HTTP or HTTPS for some reason, it worked fine, then when I changed the settings from HTTP to HTTPS wp-admin went down both HTTP and HTTPS, I could use the plugin if I could get into my WP admin panel which right now I cant.

Alright so I made sure to enable mod_rewrite and I do have a .htaccess file but I am missing “The FollowSymLinks option enabled” and the instructions are very confusing, could you give me a little more guidance on that part?
