strange i tried a dollar refund and now it worked i guess if i have the issue again ill let you know
last time there was nothing in any of the logs that i looked at that gave me any clue
the webhooks weren’t setup but I fixed that and it didn’t help (at least not immediately)

we had a similar issue
with regular non subscription order and subscription order. I kind of dismissed it as a fluke or something on my end but now i see this as i was reporting a different issue i thought i should comment as well

that should still work

just manually type the quotations ” ” or ‘ ‘

When you copy and paste, the quotes get messed up

that’s why it isn’t working for you

Need to make a bug report for login needed…..

firstly yes you do need an account to have a subscription but in the regular checkout it doesn’t go to a page saying you must login….
it creates the account (user makes a password or not etc) based on woocommerce settings
so seems like an issue…

I did some troubleshooting with trouble shooter plugin seems like when woocommerce subscriptions is activated paypal option disappears also in order for the checkout to be seen it says you need to login so kind of two issues here

they did just add support with the newest version of woo subscriptions so….

We downgraded from php 7.2 to 7.0 that fixed the issue
