Ga4 is not in beta, it’s live since a year and almost final version

GA3 disappear in 4 months.

Please don’t, getting emails and sending it to tierce services is not allowed in many countries, you could get a big fine if catch doing so.

hello has i said, you can use “dataslayer” it will display the datalayer during purchase, so you can check what informations are sent.

You can also use the network method to show the package of data sent and see if the price sent is correct.

Hello, why installing GA3? in few months it will stop to work, GA3 will disapear in july, you only need to set up GA4.

If you still need help to set up GA4, can you share your website? i can give it a look.

Either for GA3 or GA4, you need to be sure that the datalayer are properly generated. Also did you used GTM to get the variables like revenue and did you put this variable inside the tag ?

Here more informations about everything i tried:

i tried another extension than gtm4wp, same situation purchase is duplicated

i tried to change GA4 account, to see if there was an issue with settings, no change

I tried to set up my trigger on “gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC” instead of “purchase” on an a custom event called “purchase test” in my tag, event purchase is still sent even if there are no tags for this anymore on my gtm

if gtm isn’t installed on website, no datalayer, so no event sent.

If GTM is setup on website, no matter what, between 3 and 6 event purchase will be sent automatically.

i checked all plugins on wordpress, and desactivate few to see, no changes…

I have been setting up tracking sinces 3 years now, i never got this situation, i tried everything i could think about.

in gtm4wp there is an integration set up for woocommerce, to generate the datalayer, did you enable it?

if you use a gdpr extension, you can probably block it.

do you use an extension to check datalayer?

I advice to use dataslayer, you will be able to see what value is in the datalayer, maybe in gtm you set the wrong variable price .
