In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Visual Editor ConflictResponse from our Server Admin after following your instructions above:
Quick reply…
When I use the:'
and save it, it seems that it’s automatically converted when WP accesses the file. I did this (3 times) and each time when I came back the ' had been converted to ‘

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Visual Editor ConflictHi Jeremy: Our Server Administrator has activated the Debug Log per your instructions above and has provided the following feedback:
I added those config changes back in. The error log was empty. But the Apache generated log is saying (repeatedly):
[17-May-2017 21:22:50 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘if’ (T_IF) in /home/bizcatal/public_html/wp-config.php on line 29
This happened immediately after the entries he had us add. Here is what he had us add:
define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
if ( WP_DEBUG ) {
@error_reporting( E_ALL );
@ini_set( ‘log_errors’, true );
@ini_set( ‘log_errors_max_len’, ‘0’ );define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false );
define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );
define( ‘SAVEQUERIES’, true );}Line 29 is:
if ( WP_DEBUG ) {Forum: Plugins

We really appreciate your diligence here and will come back to you soon. Would it be better if we simply gave you temporary admin access?

In reply to: Simple Press TinyMCE not showingWe took the plunge with SimplePress instead of BBPress and we’ve been very disappointed in the results. While the SimplePress Support team have been responsive, it’s simply not as “simple” to integrate it into our (very current) Theme and a month into the process, we’ve been forced to simply give up and look for alternatives. Despite our best efforts, SimplePress let us down in the end, and with an unfortunate attitude.
We have latest PRO Version of SNAP and we are at PHP version 5.6.17 yet received the same Fatal Error rendering the Plug-in inoperable. Is there a fix coming?
Hi Petra:
You are correct. We are able to Log-in to Zemanta and the Screenshot shows that it is “present” but the key benefits of this Plug-in stopped working 3 months ago (Related Content and TAGS, etc.)
Working with the latest Version of WordPress (4.3.1) AND the Latest Version of your Plug-in (1.3) which has been reinstalled more than once without success.No NEW plug-ins installed that would disable JavaScript and no new extensions installed at all. Our Firewall is not blocking anything. We’ve even disabled ALL Plug-ins and activated them one at a time to see if any conflicts exist with your Plug-in and NO Conflicts exist.
We’ve lost ALL benefits of using your Plugin and are now searching for alternatives if no solution is available.
I look forward to your further feedback here.
Dennis

In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Plugin Drastically Slowing WP-AdminSame Issue here. Outstanding Plug-in, but slows posting down to circa 35 seconds, often leading to the “white screen of death”…..
