Resolved.

Do not install the entire folder, simply the .php file into the plugins directory.

Update: It appears that the problem occurs on any page that has no parent page…

On the News page… no – but look at Site Map, the page I linked. There should be a description of all the pages on that page but nothing is showing up…

Also, on the main page I tried to leave a post, but had the same problem – it didn’t show up…

Is anyone able to help resolve this issue?

Look into the plugin named “Spam Karma 2” – it works very well

You could also go into your original folder, where all of the files are, and just copy and paste the original index.php. It is a lousy solution if you’ve edited a lot of stuff previously, but if not then it is an easy and quick fix.

I tried this: changing 31536000 to a limit which should have only kept me logged in for an hour. I am still logged in 12 hours later.

I want a plugin that will result in a JavaScript password-prompt box showing up when someone navigates to this specific page.
Or even something as simple as the login that WP-Cal uses that doesn’t cause any extra pop-up windows.

I don’t think thats going to do what I want. It looks like the plugin at that page creates an archive page for old posts. I want to put a new post on one of the pages I created, instead of having to “Modify Page”

I host at 1and1 but I was quick to realize that their Quick Install of WordPress was slacking in a lot of areas (number one being you cannot install your own themes). I sense deleted their WordPress feature and installed my own – it works fine.

*shrug* I’m pleased with their service otherwise.

Okay… now does anyone know of a plug-in that may accomplish what I’m going for? It is only to protect one page.

I’ve tried closing the browser but I’ll go on the next day and I’ll still be logged in. I had a friend try it too and she didn’t have to log back in either.

More specific:

I would like to take this page:

and allow users to click on any name on the left, and open up a profile to the right.

I could do this using tables, but I know that tables are not the most popular anymore, and can be more trouble than they’re worth.
