In reply to: [Push Notifications for WordPress (Lite)] BuggyWe have released a 6.0.1 plugin with a bug fix after troubleshooting the main problem. We have also debugged and suggested some technical solutions (over a month of support, with “hands on” directly on client server).
The sentence “no support provided with premium version” is not true and not fair.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Push Notifications for WordPress (Lite)] BadHello, we are sorry for the inconvenience, have you read our documentation and support thread? You need to ask on the forum for an answer before giving a bad review (so we can investigate the problem and if we find it is caused by our plugin, implement a fix).
Hello,
Got the app to receive notifications when I post, but when you click on them it doesn’t load the post, nor does it allow me to choose categories to get notified from.
I’m sure that if your application can receive notifications you’re on the right way to have the library well integrated. I think you’re missing something, make sure your permalinks and posts are configured as in “Getting Started“.
I’m sorry but the product you have bought is not bundled in the free version of Push Notifications for WordPress and we cannot give you a deeper support here, you need to contact us on our site including your order code and we’ll be glad to answer to all your questions.
Regards.

In reply to: [Push Notifications for WordPress (Lite)] Premium plugin features?Hello,
I will briefly answer here, despite the same information will be found on the documentation page I have linked to you.
Offer & send push notifications for individual pages of (custom) post types, e.g. for custom post type “sports events” on pages “sports event 1” and “sports event 2” separately / individually?
As soon as a new post is published, a push notification is sent to registered devices and with the premium plugin “post” maybe any custom post type.
Insert custom field data from individual pages into push notifications text?
You can add any custom fields to registered subscribers (i.e. not anonymous) using the hook pnfw_register_custom_parameters.
Automatically send push notifications when a page is updated?
Push Notifications for WordPress sends notification when posts were published, so triggering notifications on page may require some customization on your side.
Hope it helps ??

Hello,
each token is associated with exactly one app subscriber. An app subscriber have 1 to N tokens. Users are automatically created with the Register API following this logic:
- If the optional email parameter is not supplied an “anonymous” user is created, with role “App Subscriber” and without associated email address.
- If the optional email parameter is provided a user is created with the specified address and role “App Subscriber.” A welcome email is automatically sent to that address with the login details. If an app subscriber was already registered with that email address it is no longer created, but it is associated with the new token.
Note: Users who have specified the email address but have not confirmed it will not receive push notifications.
So, no, Push Notifications for WordPress would not work without creating separate WordPress users.
Hope it helps.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Products shortcode srcsetBingo! I can see
woocommerce_thumbnail
,woocommerce_single
,shop_catalog
, andshop_single
all set to 750px. That’s great: so I should change these values and then regenerate the thumbnails. I imagined it was not just a matter of theme ??Thank you very much for your time!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Products shortcode srcsetThanks. Not sure if I’m missing something, but I do not understand where that 750px comes out, because in reality the sizes are set in this way under Settings → Media:
https://cuneotrekking.com/wp-content/uploads/wc-shot1.png
Moreover, when I load a media here are the files that are generated in the wp-uploads folder:
https://cuneotrekking.com/wp-content/uploads/wc-shot2.png
As you can see there are many sizes smaller than 750px…
These are the
add_theme_support()
in our theme:add_theme_support('woocommerce'); add_theme_support('wc-product-gallery-zoom'); add_theme_support('wc-product-gallery-lightbox'); add_theme_support('wc-product-gallery-slider'); add_theme_support('post-thumbnails'); add_image_size('cuneotrekking', 800, 533); update_option('thumbnail_size_w', 170); update_option('medium_size_w', 470); update_option('large_size_w', 970);
Any ideas?
Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Products shortcode srcsetHello Kenin,
I’m not sure it’s a problem of our theme (which is custom made), because the shortcode works perfectly also in our theme, as you can see by going to the cuneotrekking.com home page, but the images shown are larger than what would be sufficient… but I could miss something ??
Thanks for your time!
