None of the offered solutions worked for me. Funny enough,,, I installed a brand new blog,,, went pretty good altogether,, then I went and had a smoke and a coffee,,, and when I came back,, I refreshed the page and OOOOPSSS,,, all gone,,, POOOFFF! Unless a squirrel sneaked up and changed something, I must have a computer ghost!

WordPress,, shame on you to claim the release to be stable. The more I am studying this thing,,, the more I am disappointed with a bad job.

The deal seems to be that no one in WP wants to resolve this issue for a pile of people who need sessions to work throughout WP. I have to say, I even resorted to using a different blog platform because of this.

I haven’t found anything to help solve this yet.

This is a strict WP issue in fact. I wish I was aware of the fact that WP prevents from excessive development. I wasted days upon days trying to force custom sessions onto WP to no avail.

I am dying to find a solution to the problem.

I managed to get WP to load session variables on the first call to the set of data that I am passing over,,, but as soon as a page is refreshed the session variables are unset…
