In reply to: [Ocean Extra] 5.3 throws an error@prezez3 Look at your error, though. The first one says that the line is still wrong in:
/home/server045428/ftp/wp/wp-content/plugins/ocean-extra/includes/wizard/classes/QuietSkin.php on line 12so…from your server, folder wp
folder wp-content
folder plugins
folder ocean-extra
folder includes
folder wizard
folder classes
file QuietSkin.php line 12 — has not been changed correctlyThe easiest solution would be to rename the ocean-extra folder to something like “hold-ocean-extra” until this is resolved.
You do not need to reinstall the theme. You do not need to reinstall ocean-extra.
I’m a little concerned about which line you DID change…because if you are still getting that error, you likely changed the wrong line. This is why I suggest you just rename the folder. It will disable ocean-extra…which is a pain, but the errors will go away.
And I’m sure the plugin developer will release a patch soon. If not…we’re using the wrong theme. (kidding)
The only thing that might cause it to still have a problem AFTER you have fixed that line would be if you have some form of caching or perhaps a duplicate cloud server somewhere that hasn’t updated????
The fix works like a charm.
That first error points right at the problem and @veso_peso did the research to find the solution.
I’ve applied it on a bunch of customer sites who were using ocean-extra and they’re all fine.
But I do purge all caches on the servers after making the change. Because…cache will get you every time if you let it…

In reply to: [Ocean Extra] 5.3 throws an error@skygrey you could try clearing your cache, but if you’ve deleted ocean extra, you can’t get that error. Maybe you have two WordPress installations? Maybe you deleted something else? Maybe you deleted the ocean theme? Something is going on. That error shows you were the file is located, to that may help.
Hopefully the ocean folks get a solution out soon. @veso_peso has already given them the answer…

In reply to: [Ocean Extra] 5.3 throws an error@nathalie10600 the @veso_peso solution works well. You access it from the file manager on your server. You can also disable to plugin from the file manager.
If you have access to your hosting account, renaming just the folder for ocean extra will get you in.
You may need to get some technical help if you aren’t comfortable doing that or possibly contact your hosting company for help.
I expect the plugin will come out with a patch tomorrow.

In reply to: [Ocean Extra] 5.3 throws an error@nathalie10600 Yes. It works well.

In reply to: [Ocean Extra] 5.3 throws an errorIf you can’t get into your admin area, go in through your file manager. Go into wp-content/plugins and rename the ocean-extra folder to something like “hold-ocean-extra” and save.
You’ll be in and able to function. Of course, what you were using ocean extra for won’t work…but I’m sure they’ll get this fixed pretty quick.
This isn’t an ideal solution, but it is fairly quick and it will get your site back up.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Add to cart not working on mobileActually, I need to mark this closed. I rebooted my phone and now it works. I’m not sure what it was, but it was my device…and it was happening on all WooCommerce sites that I visited.
Just finished testing to verify that it is a non-issue. Thanks for checking!
I can’t say for sure, but I think I had the latest version in all sites before updating. I’m aggressive about keeping sites up to date.
I think I had some of them set in the wp-config, but looking at them just now, I’m not seeing any of the keys set there any more. I vaguely remember taking the key out of the config and moving it to the main site a couple of versions ago. (Sorry…very tired today and brain is not 100%…)
So…none of these seem to have the constant defined in wp-config.
I’ve already entered the keys again on all of my sites that I saw that were having an error. (I may find others, in which case I’ll be more aware of answering these questions…)
But…I can tell you that right now this error:
2019-10-01 12:34:42: Error occured while checking account status. Error: SERVER_ERROR NO: 6 MSG: Unknown access key.
Only shows on the sub-sites, not the main site where I did enter the code. I could probably put the code back in the wp-config on those sites…but it looks like the anti-spam is working despite the error? Not 100% sure. Some more info:
2019-10-01 20:15:03: Error occured while checking account status. Error: SERVER_ERROR NO: 6 MSG: Unknown access key.
2019-10-01 20:15:02: Error occured while automatically gettings access key. Error: Array
2019-10-01 20:15:03: Error occured while API key validating. Error: Testing is failed. Please check the Access key.I get it…I need to log into the client’s account and get their key…which I’ll do, but this looks scary to a client…

In reply to: [Atomic Blocks - Gutenberg Blocks Collection] Question about Post AuthorThank you so much for this information!
Thanks. I appreciate the response. For anyone reading, it turned out that these were actually removed from the repository. The plugin that I thought was running our PayPal wasn’t, and so removing it was the right thing to do.
Wordfence for the win.
Thanks. Yes, I’m on the current version and it seems to be affecting several sites. Thanks for the update.
Thanks. We look forward to that!

In reply to: [Addons & Templates for Elementor by Sizzify Lite] php error at topIgnore my last message. Check your plugins page. You may have a button there to roll back to the previous version (1.3.0) — that would be the BEST solution.

In reply to: [Addons & Templates for Elementor by Sizzify Lite] php error at topIf you can, just disable the plugin for now. That’s the easiest. If you can’t get into the admin area due to the error then you’ll want to rename the folder the plugin lives in. (Elementor-addon-widgets — located inside the plugins folder of your installation.) Not a great solution, but it works. If you have a backup that allows you to just restore 1 folder of files without restoring the database, that will also let you fix this. Just restore back to the previous version until the developer can get it fixed.
But try just disabling the plugin.
