I’ve worked out that it is the HTML minification being done by SG Optimiser. Probably needs a look at? I’m not sure why it only seems to affect Firefox!
Thanks! Working now.

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Duplicate as different post type via APIHi, I eventually worked out how to use duplicate_post_create_duplicate() to do this. I posted this after looking at the documentation because the docs on duplicate_post_pre_copy really wasn’t clear about how you could use it. It could do with more info on there and some some examples!
I believe WP-Armour uses JS to fill the honeypot on submission which bots tend to find harder.
I can try akismet, but I thikn that will require us to set more accounts (we do lots of client sites) which might be painful.
Would be great if you could include a captcha ghat doesn’t force cookies on the user. That’s the main problem with recaptcha that it’s in breach of GDPR, and if you reject cookies, it won’t work and therefore can’t protect your site!

In reply to: [WP Armour - Honeypot Anti Spam] Forminator support? We’ve received a bunch through so their honeypots don’t seem to work well. Any chance you could extend WP-armour to forminator? It was working well with Caldera for us, and we really don’t want to use recaptcha

In reply to: [WP Armour - Honeypot Anti Spam] Forminator support? Is it on the list to implement? Or does Forminator’s own honeypot fields do the job well enough?
Hi, I don’t think you really addressed what I was asking here. You’ve specified that the forms will pick up the fonts from the theme, but it looks like you’ve overriding the font size for the pages with your own stylesheet meaning that they’ll still often look out of place.
As you can see in the screenshot linked above, by default you are inheriting the font family, meaning it will match what the theme has, but you’re applying a 12pt font size. This means any theme which has a larger font than this for main text (Like nearly all the sites we work on) the labels will be smaller than the default text, which looks rubbish.
I can override this with either custom css, or applying a design style in the app but I have to do this on every site we work on, rather than just getting it by default.
Is there any reason why you just don’t see the font-size to inherit? Or just don’t specify it at all? Then if people dion’t like how it styles, they can override?

In reply to: Blocks overlapping others in page editorIt appears to be the cover elements which break the layout. Removing them returns order. It’s like they are too big for displaying properly in the column.

In reply to: [Caldera Forms Anti Spam] Intermittent loading of reCaptchaAh! I just saw it again and caught this error in the console:
Uncaught Error: reCAPTCHA has already been rendered in this element
at recaptcha__en_gb.js:329
at init_recaptcha_fld_4040756_1 ((index):708)
at (index):719https://www.gstatic.com/recaptcha/releases/6OAif-f8nYV0qSFmq-D6Qssr/recaptcha__en_gb.js
Here is a screenshot of it missing and the html showing the iframe missing.
On a few reloads, it appeared ok, and then loaded without it. This time there aren’t any errors in the console.
Oh, and while I have a ticket open, can we get a description added for:
—
cookielawinfo-checkbox-others 1 year No description
—Yep! That works.
Turned out the problem was though that the popup wasn’t set to onclick!

In reply to: Gutenberg Youtube embedsYeah, it’s not perfect for tethered connections, but that’s a very tiny subset of the pages audience.
TBH, I absolutely agree it’s not a great practice, but I’m attempting to move someone off an ancient, out of support theme which does have this out of the box, to Gutenberg as a first step to get them up to date. Not having the hero video is a very big step for someone who really likes their current theme and they’d just not agree to remove it based on this arguments.
I think this is a more important issue in here though that the embed blocks are breaking the parameters. There is more in there than just the autoplay command such as minimal branding, fixing the playlists etc that should be respected. Unless I’m just doing something wrong.
