I have to agree with Indy69, I liked when Better WP Security worked with BPS. They were the perfect pair. Stopped working a few days ago, and had to ditch Better WP Security. when the update came out, I was ok, cool, lets see if this works. O-no it locked me out 500 error. Delete plugin folder. Not going back to this, unless the compatibility is fixed.

I have been having this same issue, I even tried rolling back to the previous version. I am glad that I am not the only one having this problem. I rely on being able to publish my photos directly from lightroom to my wordpress site.

I hope that a fix is in the mix or I am going to have to go back to my many steps method, which take a lot more time.

I have been testing out a clean wordpress install on my local host and
when I activated TML, and was activating the theme profile module, and trying to just restrict access to my backend. I ended up getting kicked out of my backend with no way to get back in. Lucky for me, I was able to just delete my config file and redo the wordpress install. I am happy to have tested this on my localhost first before trying it on my web hosting server.

If anyone figures out more of a solution, they should post it here. I am not sure what is going on.

I have been loging out with the wordpress toolbar at the top, when you click on your user name and click logout

yes, that was part of how I did the testing, starting with no plugins activated, then just TML, and adding in a plugin and changing to another plugin. only having TML and one other plugin activated until I found the combination that conflicted.

That is the first thing that I tested, was to see if there was a conflict with a plugin and this new version of TML. I found out when I deactivated all my plugins and just had the TML plugin (version 6.3.3) active and SEO by Yost active that there was a conflict. The earlier version of TML (6.2.3) does not have this problem.

Great plugin, I love it. I am having the problem of not being able to log out at all from the admin, or from the website. I have down graded back to version 6.2.3 and it works fine.

I had similar problems to yours, I did a test with my localhost install, and it had no problems so I checked out my .htaccess files and took out some stuff from that. Bulletproof Security had put in there.

Now there are no problems,
