In reply to: Categories, Tags and Custom Post TypesHi @joyously
The ‘cars-online’ item is a PAGE.
The ‘red-cars’, ‘blue-cars’, ‘yellow-cars’ items are CPT’s.
I’ve been rather careful not to label any taxonomies the same – had a right tussle with labelling my sitemap page, as it wouldn’t register until I renamed it to ‘site-map’.

In reply to: Startpage does not appearHi @norfire1055
In General Settings, make sure that your WordPress URL is set to https://brettmaen.de and also that your Site URL is also set to https://brettmaen.de
Hi,
The error that I found was not in Google, but in Rank Math > Search Console > Sitemaps > sitemap_index.xml is not a valid sitemap.
That’s what led me to check GSC in the first place.
As I said already though, a refresh shows all the sitemaps loaded up inside rank math, and the sitemap_index.xml loaded up inside GSC, with an option to view all of the submitted sitemaps.

In reply to: [Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings] InconsistenciesOk, so the posts don’t NEED to be updated, but I’m doing a ‘Neil Patel’ at the moment in ‘evergreening’ the posts, so they’ll all be updated at some point anyway.
So how about a quick explanation on why images in sliders and portfolio galleries, plus the ones used at content section backgrounds are not registered by Rank Math’s ‘you are using images or videos’ parameter down at the bottom?
Hi,
No, it wasn’t a ‘wonky error’ as such, I just found that Rank Math put the sitemap_index.xml straight into GSC on clicking onto the Search Console> Sitemaps section (following the error message).
Then yesterday I was worried that all my other sitemaps had disappeared, but this morning I found that clicking onto the index.xml bought up all of the old maps.
Seems like a pretty decent solution actually!
Ok, all sorted.
It appears that the refreshed Google Search Console sitemaps now include a sitemaps index, and clicking onto that item reveals all the single sitemaps.
Cool, yes?

In reply to: [Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings] InconsistenciesMy original problem was with Rank Math ‘importing’ but not really ‘importing’ pages and posts, as these new versions then all need to be updated.
First things first then, how do you get the posts migrated over without the prompt to update your post straight after?

In reply to: [Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings] An ApologyOk, so I just finished editing the snippets etc, and I didn’t really notice any more ‘searching in database’ messages.
Nevertheless, I cleared a few caches and cleared the transients, though I didn’t uninstall and re-install Rank Math, as I couldn’t face having to do all those snippets again!
I’ll hang on for a while for the beta until it becomes a full version, as I don’t like running beta versions of things on a live website – thanks anyway.

In reply to: [Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings] An ApologySomething that’s a little annoying – when configuring snippets, page titles, optimisations etc on single posts and pages, what does the occasional ‘we are searching in database’ mean?

In reply to: [Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings] Clarification Please?Pity about that, as Rank Math covers so many other plugins.
If the SEO feature became modulated and was able to work alongside other SEO plugins by turning the SEO module off, I’m sure it would be good for business.

In reply to: [Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings] Clarification Please?Sorry guys swapped back to Yoast, and the SERPS rankings are going back up – including my branding, which has gone from nowhere, back up to number one.
Is there not a way to turn off the SEO features of Rank Math via a module so that Yoast can be used alongside it?

In reply to: [Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings] Clarification Please?Well yes, I would do, but why have all of my ratings dropped on average a page and a half?
Is it something to do with Google?

In reply to: [Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings] Clarification Please?Oh right, that must be it then.
I used domain verification.
Great, I’ll look forward to seeing what you guys come up with!
