Yeah this is a must have for any SEO plugin, not sure how it’s usable for anyone without this, unless I guess they don’t use CPTs in their site.

Looking forward to when you can release this, as apart from this a very decent plugin.

It looks like the plugin doesn’t work well with “wp_get_attachment_image”, which is probably something to address.

I’ll see if it provides the necessary og tags to share content effectively.

And having this stuff I’m not expecting all for free, if you choose to have a paid addon to fulfill all the tags required for effective sharing across the major social media platforms that’s okay, I just think your plugin needs to have these elements available before it’s able to be used without adding in some additional template code as I did for the Youtube share images.

If I’m adding a video to my blog post I don’t want to be needing to manually add an image every time, that is very time consuming. Youtube provides a default image for every video for social media sharing purposes, it would make sense to cater for that in your code.

If you do, then you’re going to need to add in functionality that if Youtube, it adds in the og:image path to the image that Youtube provide for all their videos. I ended up having to use a custom field for Youtube video ID, and then add in a line in my template if that was present to get the Youtube image for that video to use for that post.

There is no class “lazy” applied to the images.

And as I said, these are simply images uploaded via Advanced Custom Fields, and placed on the page using “wp_get_attachment_image”.

Before I do some more tests, what browser/platform are you on?

This is really strange. Went back to check just now, and now the widget tab is populated, as you say. So removed this entire WordPress install completely (files & database), and re-installed another clean install, again with no other plugins installed. Once again the widgets tab is empty.

Are you sure you made no changes when you logged in? And if not, what would explain this behaviour???

Couldn’t you update the plugin to reflect the correct terminology nowadays? Same as “electronic-email” became “e-mail” over a decade ago, “email” is now the correct terminology. It would seem better to have those wanting to keep using outdated terminology needing to do the extra work rather than the majority that use “email”.

I did it on a fresh install, no other plugins active.

I’ve also tested this with the default WordPress themes to ensure it wasn’t a theme conflict issue, and same issue appears.
