    Thanks, John. ??

I’ve deactivated the Feedburner redirect and updated my .htaccess file in my Cpanel. Then I copied the WP RSS link onto my desktop aggregator. I was able to read the feed.

How do I get this link to work in Firefox or any other browser?

Okay, now I clicked on the RSS link again. The warning did not pop up. But now, I’m back to staring at a blank browser screen that won’t allow me to do anything.

How can I get this link to work in Firefox, Netscape, etc.? When I enter the feed manually in the URL box in Firefox, it redirects me to my Feedburner feed.

It looks like some wires have been crossed here. I’d hate to have to disable my Feedburner plugin, especially when it’s no guarantee that I’ll get my WP feed link working again. Any suggestions?

This happened to me when I was using Firefox. I clicked the “Launch Application” button, which opened Safari. Then, all I receive is a blank browser page.

When I tried to enter my blog URL, another blank page popped up. Safari wouldn’t let me do anything but stare at the blank page.

The only two options I have when this occurs is to cancel the request or launch Safari.

Oh, I forgot one other thing: Deselect the “Comment author must have a previously approved comment.” This will allow new and existing posters to see their comments right away. Hope this helps. ??

No. Your readers’s comments will show up right after they’ve clicked “post.”

Yes, it does. I could implement a table of contents on the parent pages. I’ll have to read up on the Codex again to determine how not to display the child pages. Thanks for your help. ??

“but it seems as if your implementation through pages is somewhat duplicating behaviour that might more easily be provided through the categories/posts mechanism of the blog side of things… including future posting…. Not a criticism, just an observation.”

That’s exactly what I did. I wasn’t clear on how to create subpages in any other way. I tried reading the Codex but got more confused.

What I’d like to do is keep the parent pages in view, collapsing the child pages so the sidebar will look less cluttered. Ideally, all the user would need to do is click on the parent page to display the child pages. But, I’m thinking that I won’t be allowed to do this at all.

The way I have things set up now is that I have a blank page that displays the title of each of the parent categories I created (i.e., Blogging, Media & PR, Internet Marketing, etc.). When I create a new page for an article, I categorize it as a child page for the relevant parent page.

What I’ve been doing is creating a blank page for the parent categories, and then individual pages for each of my articles. To get an idea, visit my site at https://thewritersbuzz.com.

Downloaded and uploaded onto my server successfully. How can I collapse the pages that I have listed and will post in the future?

I clicked on your link, but got an error message. Is there another link where I can access this plug-in? Thanks!

I’ve seen WP blogs with this feature, although I can’t tell you how to accomplish this.

I’ve tried this for entering old entries (say a month or so prior) with success. Click on the Edit Timestamp box in the Advanced publishing settings. Enter the date you want your entry to publish, and then click Publish.

I’ll be testing this feature as well to see if I can write posts to be published the next day.

Update: My member is still not able to post anything through the WP interface without getting a server error. I’m able to post pages and blog entries without a problem.

Could virus protection software interfere with WordPress? The reason I’m asking this is because Norton Internet Security (which includes the anti-virus software) affected my Yahoo! email to the point where I couldn’t send emails or reply to anyone who had sent me an email.

Also, has anyone had any problems using WordPress with Internet Explorer? I know that’s a very touchy browser.

    I’m grasping at straws here.

I’ll have to ask her. I assumed she was trying to submit through the WP interface. When she told me about her problem, I registered myself under another account and posted with no problems. I’ll let you know what she says.

    Thanks for your help! ??
