In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Venmo reportingThanks, Ben. That’s also what it sounds like from the PayPal FAQ https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/FAQ3478. So looks like it would not place additional burden on the finance team to handle a separate account.

Ah, well our staging site is really more of a testing lab than a staging site. It’s full of artifacts and experiments, and updating live is basically “cut and paste.” We’d have to normalize our process: which it would probably be a lot less traumatic to just get the multi site license, but maybe you can recommend a good lead on the benefits for a more normal process. Anyways, if I read you correctly, we might be able to flip the one license from live back to “staging” temporarily, and I wonder if anybody reading this is in the same boat as us.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] widget in footer vs termsThanks so much, Matt! This is why we test! That was it. We just didn’t test with enough forms. In a way, it’s good to find that little peculiarity, because I bet this will eventually happen for someone else, and now, if they can find this topic, they will know what to do. Regards.
Same issue here.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] TestingYes, it did say optional next to the login, but it threw the login required error message except when logged in. I guess this could be a conflict with some other plugin or possibly a cache somewhere. It was not the behavior I expected from “optional.”

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] TestingI actually found the settings soon after I posted, but then didn’t find time yesterday to reply to my own post. As expected, I found “Disable Guest Donations” unchecked, as I remembered I had done but not where I had done it. The problem resolved when I disable the “Register/Login,” so apparently Register/Login overrides Guest Donations. Just out of curiosity, but not because I want it at this time, I would need to link to a login page or module to facilitate optional login for the end users, correct? And this is why the option for history based on email identifier alone was put in place?
Great plugin. Glad to see it developing. Thanks for your response!
