The “indexed but not submitted in sitemap” URLs are those that were found by Google through their crawling of the web, without having to find them in the sitemap. It’s possible that Google either indexed the URLs before they were added to the sitemap, that they found the URLs from third-party links, etc.

Before 2nd May all the links, posts, and pages were in the sitemap, after updating it somehow removes from the sitemap. I checked after 20$ traffic dropped on 2nd May, the next day 30%. So, I checked one of my 1st ranked posts and surprisingly the post was set to no-indexed itself. I did nothing. And All this happened after updating the plugin. Since then many top-ranking posts excluded from google search console, and that’s why my website traffic went down by 70 to 80%
What’re your thoughts on this sir?

@mazedulislamkhan Hey, but I found 10 post excluded on 3rd may, the day i updated the plugin.
Now, in google search console all post pages showing “Indexed but not submitted in the sitemap”
and 10 post remains excluded on Google search console.

My website Traffic went down by 60 to 70%, and it happens overnight! so, i checked some 1st ranked post on google search console and found that post automatically set to noindex! then I checked other posts and pages, it’s showing indexed, not submitted in the sitemap. recently I discovered some top-performing posts and pages excluded in google search console! i have no clue! and all this thing started when I updated my plugin on 2nd may then I install the latest version 2 day after(and this 2-day gap, ruined my website traffic and ranking)

I’m not going to use this plugin for a new site.

can you please help me with “Crawled – currently not indexed” is this temporary or permanent? I checked individual links, all are indexed but not submitted in the sitemap.

I have same issue, some random post(ranked on 1st page) in excluded list in sitemap, crawled – currently not index. And for other post, when im using url inspection it showing, indexed but not submitted in sitemap.

I had this similar issues, my 1st ranked post disappear, so i checked on google search console and found it set to noindex.
I lost ranking as wel as traffic.

I don’t have any solution , they already did the damage work now the google core updates, hopefully it will be fix soon.
The painful thing is the time, it took around 8 month to rabk properly on google serp, and this bugs completely vanished my traffic and post and pages from 1st position, now only 1 or 2 post is on page 1. and the 1st ranking post disappeared,(which i found set to noindex automatically) this is horrific situation, normally i get around 350 visit per day, now hardly it touching 80 or 90 visit.

This is horrific, and they are not realising any solution for that

My ranking dropped after updates, i can’t even seeing any 1st ranked post on 1st page. i have more than 50 plus post on 1st page, then it disappeared from 1st page, 2nd page , 3rd page, i can’t even find it.

I have exactly same problem, the pages was ranking in 1st position , noindex after updating , and then i submitted all the post in gsc manually , and my website traffic went down by 60 to 70% (it’s not for the google update) i can’t even getting the result after searching with exact title of my post(which was in 1st page of google)

Hey! They, I found No SEO META DEScription after updating to latest version, But the older version which is installed on other web sites, showing meta description. And Because of meta description not there google bot ignoring the post or pages And That’s why I’m getting very little traffic, So, I Manually added the %%Excerpt%% in Yoast tool section.

I Don’t Know, If Anything Wrong With Title(i have noticed before, yoast auto inserting site title tag, which is not my structure)
