Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WP Database overloadHope someone is watching this thread. Is there a way (of course there is, or so I hope) to see what queries are invoked and how much data is processed using a wordpress plugin? Server guys can’t tell me what scripts are making >10GB data flow per day with 50mb database. How do I track that?
I dont want to start another topic so..
1. ..is there a way to recode the plugin to use different category name? Where should I start/what to look for?2 ..how complicated it would be to set a link/page that would show the grid view? I really need to have it “hooked” to a single page.
3 ..I need to translate the map as well can You add translation strings to language files?
Thanks.
I hope the author reads it, but line 1068 uses php short tag, that doesnt help resolving the issue, but is still a minor bug. Short tags shoud be banned, seriously most hosting providers don’t allow it. Any fix coming for activation bug anytime soon?
Ok I have the same problem with version 2.1
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in \(..)\wp-content\plugins\events-manager\dbem_events.php on line 2289 – that’s end of the file. Any fix for that?Same here.. where can I get version 2.1?

In reply to: The strangest WP problem!Hey, it’s old but still I got here becouse of (almost) same reason. In my case code that was supposed to be in head went to body. Finally after 3 hours I got enlightened. If YOu get simillar problem be sure to convert Your files back to ANSI from UTF-8 (physical files like header.php not coding on webpage)
Can You write how to resolve that? Since topic says resolved but no info here.
