In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Captcha Cookies ErrorHas anyone resolved this??? I am having the same kind of errors. Firefox works fine but Chrome and IE are showing errors:
IE: “That CAPTCHA was incorrect.”
Chrome: “That CAPTCHA was incorrect.” and “Could not read CAPTCHA cookie. Try again.”D
This was bugging me really badly – then reading this solved it –
Firstly revert to NextGen Scroll Gallery v 1.8.0 – versions after that seem to be unstable and cause problems
The problem with NextGen Scroll Gallery for me was that I was using a slideshow in the sidebar and it was that which was causing the problems!! As soon as I removed the sidebar galley show it worked fine again!!
Ridiculous really considering it is from the same developer – but hey – it solved the problem.
Good Luck
I am having issues with this still. It’s driving me nuts.
HELLLLP!!!
After hours of tinkering with it and trying to figure out what was going on, I managed to do it (he says with fingers still crossed).
I checked through the image sizes and made sure that the Gallery images and upload sizes were all within sensible size limitations to fit the page. I also checked the NEXT GEN Scroll Gallery image sizes measurements.
By adjusting the image sizes, (as it seemed they might be a little overlapping slightly with sidebar widgets) I thought it might be a little overlap causing a clash with sidebar items/code, it seemed to resolve it a bit more, but not quite – I had managed to get Chrome and IE working with it, but Firefox kept crashing out time after time with a script error for NEXTGEN SCROLL GALLERY or by “not responding”
I then got a friend to view the website and he said that AddThis looked to be causing a problem his end. I turned off scroll gallery and the page loaded fine with no errors, but obviously no gallery.
I decided to uninstall NEXTGEN Scroll Gallery and reinstalled it and it now works. Rather odd, but it musthave been something in the upgrade or in the settings. Either way, it works now – touch wood!!
Good luck! Hope this helps.
Please can you explain what you did to resolve this? Did you reinstall NextGen Gallery several times, or did you reinstall the images??
Help….
I had that recently and it was a real pain. Sadly no solution, just deleted images from media area and uploaded another time and it seemed to work.
The problem I am having now is that slideshows will not work in my sidebar at all; I just get the spinning timer and nothing else. Using the Suffusion theme, which I have used for a few other sites and its worked fine until this new one that I am building. I am wondering if Nextgen cannot cope with WP 3.3.2…..?
Answers much appreciated…
I am having a problem with NEXTgen in the sidebar; in that it will not display any images, just the spinning timer. Have you figured anything out yet?
I am using Suffusion as my theme and on other websites that I have built with it, it’s been fine; all has worked fine. On this new build using WP 3.3.2 it’s just not working and I am wondering if that may be the route cause of the problem….?
