I am having the same problem with adding Pinterest pins to me blog. The quality is so bad that I removed them. The images used to create the pin on Pinterest are high resolution PNG files so I don’t know why the embedded pin images are so bad. I decided to add the original image to my blog, scaled down to fit the post, and add a caption with the link to the pin. The problem is that the image doesn’t have the Pinterest pin sharing link. Perhaps there is a plugin to take care of that. I just don’t want low resolution images in a blog post that I have spent a day creating.
