I’ve disabled all plugins and Gears, still no dice. Argh…

I’m having a slightly different but similar problem. I can access the Flash uploader just fine, but when the file completes and goes through the “Crunching…” phase, it gives me a login window rather than the image information. When I check through FTP, the file hasn’t actually uploaded at all. Very frustrating:

It doesn’t work for me regardless of browser. I’ve tried FF, IE, and Google Chrome, and none of them let me upload files through the Flash uploader.

I installed the NextGEN-Gallery plugin to try and circumvent the WP uploader problem. I’ve found that the NGG plugin also logs me out for each individual image upload. HOWEVER, I’ve discovered that zip uploading works normally (albeit a tad unstable, with random connection timeouts to the server).

Never mind, K2 devs came out with a new nightly that fixes the problem!

I’ve been getting this problem a lot too. The comment flood block even works on me, the admin of the site, and even though I wait something like five minutes in between comments. It’s really annoying, so any help from WP higher-ups would be greatly appreciated!

Okay, never mind about the second question. I’ve created a makeshift image.php which should suffice for now.

But as for image upload limits, where on earth can I fix that?
