I’m having the same issue. All I wanted to do was disallow users with spaces and that was the only thing I checked in the options. Everything else was blank. The tester seemed to work correctly, marking usernames with spaces as invalid, however I was able to create the username “two words” successfully. I’m using 4.3.1 with restrict usernames 3.5.1.
