Ah Yes! You are correct. Sorry, I wasn’t looking at the panel when I wrote this. I thought I had something that I was missing. but I can’t think of it right now.

I have been using both of these plugins on a bunch of sites and cannot report any issues, fortunately. Even with some of the functionality overlapping, like forcing strong passwords and brute force lockouts. Allthough, I should probably use one or the other so they are not overlapping.

They are both great plugins, with some overlapping functions and slightly different areas of security.

I have avoided upgrading this plugin for years because everytime I do (and there has only been two available updates in the past three years or so) – it breaks the thumbnails from the slider. So I’ve just kept it not updated.

I just ran a test to see if this issue was actually fixed, but after updating, the URLs to the images are missing the /wp-content/uploads/ part of the url for some reason. The rest of it is accurate.

I hope the author will fix this. It’s a great plugin otherwise! So many thanks for developing it and making it available to us for free.

I’m getting this same issue. There are about 10 posts. the images are linking to

When I first went to the plugin import page. it said I only had two posts with external images. But there are actually 9 that need to be imported.

It said when I first rant it, that those two posts were imported successfully. When I reload that page is give me that message:

We didn’t find any external images to import. You’re all set!

I checked the two posts, and it did import those two post image attachments. But it doesn’t recognize the other posts with images…

I’m having a similar issue.

I’ve done this more than several times already. In the past, I was able to export from wordpress.com and import into the new site.

Previously, I have been able to import all images doing this. But recently the images are not transferring.

i did read on another thread that there is a trick now, that you must export EVERYTHING from the wordpress.com account, in order for it to load the images. If you just export the blog posts, it won’t carry them over.

But on the import side. Previously, checking the box for ‘import attachments’ worked fine. But now I continue to have issues with this.

Not sure why it’s not working all of a sudden.

Would love someone to shed some light on this topic.

Ok, I’ve identified the conflict. It’s because I’m loading another version of jquery in the footer. I’m using the proper format
add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘theme_name_scripts’ );

but this plugin gives me that infinite looping loading icon with that present.

The other thing I’m seeing is that this plugin outputs the same file window source on the home page even though it’s not displayed here, and this is causing Slider Revolution to fail. Is there any way to tell this plugin to only load data on the pages with the shortcode?

My theme is a lightweight responsive theme that I’m building. It’s got to be a plugin conflict. Still trying to figure out which one it is.

Same here. I’m wondering if it was because of the automatic update from WP v3.9.1 to 3.9.2 – the timing seemed to co-inside with this update on mine.

Fortunately, I have the Database Manager installed, and was able to restore the data, at least to July 17th. Still lost a weeks worth however.

Yes, unfortunately, this plugin was working fine until 3.9 came out. Any chance there could be an update to it? It is a very helpful plugin.

I found this plugin way to expensive for what it offers. $5 for every flipbook? No thanks.
