In reply to: [WooCommerce] WC > Square > multiple locations?Thank you so much. That is massively helpful just to have a top-down view, and also to know that finding the solution in Stripe could potentially be just as involved as a solution in Square.
The real drawback to using WC Product Vendors (which is a great idea I was previously unaware of) would be that the accountants want to get all the data from Square/Stripe, because Square/Stripe accounts for all the fees, while WC’s reports are pre-fees.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Managing inventory (Square)Thank you so much for this response.
Your bottom line conclusion makes sense — thanks for clarifying. But I can’t help but feeling like this is designed in a very confusing way. In several places in the UI, there’s settings that imply WooCommerce can be the “master” regarding not only overall sync but also inventory control.
And even in your paragraph above, I think you have a contradiction: you say: “When WooCommerce is set as the?Sync Setting, inventory changes in WooCommerce overwrite Square inventory.” But then you say “Regardless of your?Sync Setting, inventory is pulled from Square?every hour?to account for POS sales.” It seems to me like your first sentence is false — if WooCommerce is set as the sync setting, inventory changes in WooCommerce do NOT overwrite Square inventory. And in my original post, I documented how I was unable to write inventory changes into WooCommerce.
But bottom line: thank you for the help. I’ll make all my inventory changes in Square. (Even though I don’t really understand why it’s hypothetically possible to change them in WooCommerce!)
How do I find out if that’s stored as standard user meta?
(All I know is what’s in the link above.)
Can you explain what you mean? What you see in the screenshot above is what got generated when I hit “Insert Default Content.” If I don’t insert that, what *should* I insert?
The contents of the e-mail IS the BNFW notification that I’ve set up. It just keeps sending me notifications about myself. ?? And it ignores real new users.
Sure; here you go: https://imgur.com/a/HNaIxgE
Update: I just learned that each of us recipients are receiving these notifications *about ourselves*. In other words, my e-mail address is t***@mydomain.com, and I get notifications about the t***@mydomain.com user being registered, every day.
But another admin, who is of*****@mydomain.com, is getting notifications about of*****@mydomain.com every day!
It’s not a digest. It’s a mail about a single user registration (my own, actually), and it gets sent repeatedly. I’ve received 3-4 copies over the 3-4 days I’ve turned this notification on.
Yes, this definitely fixed my issue. Since creating a real mailbox then putting its credentials into Easy WP SMTP, e-mail sending has worked perfectly for the past two weeks.
The e-mail host for this particular site is Rackspace, FYI.
Update for other people who may stumble across this: my e-mail provider has told me that this error occurred because [email protected] is not an actual e-mailbox at my domain. They tell me I need to create the actual e-mailbox.
I will be doing that today, and hope that will resolve the problem.

In reply to: A robust export plug-in?Thanks a lot for the response. I’m new to all this and have never accessed WP through an API before. Will read up on it.
