This can’t be viewed in isolation. When Matt tweets about turning the best plugins into core features and then something like this happens, it’s worrying. It’s not what open source stands for. They can claim otherwise but this is toxic, hostile takeover behaviour, no better than the corporate greed they claim to oppose. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Thanks for coming back. Yes, I am using single add snippets (from my Adsense account) throughout the front page. However, Is there a way to force these to respect the Sitekit setting? Some of these ads are specific for certain blocks so I do not want to leave it to auto ads to fill in the blank space.

I have a similar issue, and using “Remove Original Image Backups” doesn’t remove the original backups. The cycle runs, nothing happens, even the number of files does not change.

Please advise as this does not seem to be the intended functionality.

Also seems that soundcloud’s Iframe embed works fine.

Same issue, can confirm soundcloud embeds have stopped working both on block editor and elementor. Have tested several different sites with same issue. Seems soundcloud related.

Managed to get it fixed, it was actually a caching conflict with litespeed cache.

Thank for the reply! I am running instagram v 288.0.022.66 on android 13 (TQ2A.230505.002) on a Pixel 5 – I also tested on a second pixel 5 and same issue.

Will also test on an iphone to see if it’s any different there.

Can confirm that disabling anchor ads in adsense auto ads settings has resolved the issue.

Finally, this was also happening on mobile (Android, using Chrome)

I have the exact same problem (pages become unresponsive when reaching the bottom), happens in both normal and incognito mode. Have tested both Chrome and Edge with same results. I will disable bottom ads and see if this is the culprit.

Had to refund $6000 just today because paypal takes the money anyway and the client ends up paying twice!

Also spent several days just trying to figure out what the problem was and why clients were ending up paying twice.
