    Well, I got the site updated. I had to manually update it. Even removed all the plugins and used a basic theme. Something appears to be broken underneath and I will be forced to update manually each time. Plugins don’t seem to want to update either but I can’t tell what ones need to update without manually searching for each one. But, at least I am 4.6.1 now.

    EDIT: I managed to modify some obscure files and it seemed to have fixed my issue. /sigh

    Hi again,

    I disabled a bunch of plugins and I still can’t see any updates. Though, after I disabled the wordpress w3 caching, I saw it had 3 updates and when I went to the updates page, only 2 were plugins but then it all vanished! I think the other one was WordPress itself but… this then led me to this thought: I remembered I have APC installed. I think this is likely causing my issue. So I’m going to tinker around a bit with this and if I keep running into issues, I’ll make a new post.

    Thanks a lot for your detailed and prompt help, much appreciated ??

    Thanks! I have bookmarked that site.

    Do you know how I can possibly fix the issue where WordPress say it is up to date and won’t progress further? I’d like to fix and use the one click updating, if possible.

    Should I make a new thread for this problem?

    Thanks.

    This worked great kjodle! I am going to try and make a RFE on the main support forums to have this as an option for the theme.

    Hi

    Thanks for your replies.

    @kjodle
    I edited a subpage and clicked Screen Options but I didn’t see any check box for Custom Excerpts. I saw these options:

    Quick Page/Post Redirect
    Graphene page-specific options
    Custom Fields
    Discussion Comments
    Slug
    Author
    Revisions
    Sharing
    Page Attributes
    Featured Image
    Screen Layout
    ..Number of Columns: 1 2

    @les Bessant
    Thanks! I’ll definitely check this out.

    I went back and did that with my NextGEN image but it never would take to the “full size’ option. So instead, I uploaded a new copy from my computer and the full size took shape.

    Thanks!

    I have this same issue.

    Have you been able to fix the problem?

    Edit: I did some research and it seems there are conflicts with the includes with the wp2 to phpbb bridge. I changed the includes in the wp2bb to be include_once but it did not solve the problem. Instead, it cannot find the sql_db in the wp2bb file.
